For a real icing on cake, it does a great job! I'm not a pro so can't speak to it, but love how durable it is (not very flexible, just a straight edge). I have small hands so there are plenty of blades to work with. Originally bought as a pan scraper, it's a bit too big for that. Probably shouldn't be used for anything too hot or for hard scraping, the plastic is thick but will crack if subjected to too much force. The long side with the hole is thicker for a better grip, but the short sides are cut at this angle so the edges are thinner. In length it is about as long as a small smartphone, but slightly wider in width.
