To make quilting rulers non-slip, there are a few "recommendations". I bought this tape on the advice of the seller. If you need a ruler to slide across the fabric, don't use it. But if you need to hold your ruler on long cuts or on a specialty ruler where you need precise position and sure grip for perfect cuts, you won't regret it. Your ruler will be firmly in place. (I've used Invisigrip, silicone discs, Nextcare tape - they are the best value and stick better than any other product). With this line, less is more. I found it to be only 1/4" wide (1/4" x 1") and the placement on the outside edges of my rulers was perfect. Best grip I've ever used. As long as it's transparent I would put it on a ruler where the marks are not hidden.I really like this product because it provides a stable, hassle-free and economical cutting support.
