Bought a new 4.5 foot tall artificial Christmas tree that weighs 18 pounds. Place a lot of decorations on it, like our tree topper, and this table is strong enough for the weight of the tree with decorations. It was very easy to put together and the size is perfect for the corner of the room where our tree is. I'm not sure about some of the negative reviews this table is getting as the description clearly states how big it is and what is the maximum weight it can hold. Also, it cost less than $20, so I wasn't expecting a piece of furniture; just a small table to set up our new Christmas tree for the holiday season.
