I have already used a K&N as an air intake on another car. Since it was sent to me that way, I had no idea what to compare the performance increase to. Place this drop in a filter. what a huge difference! There is one whistle that I find at least amusing. More interesting is the kick it gives my sluggish 2020 Tacoma TRD OR. This truck has an Atkinson cycle engine that doesn't generate power until your foot hits the ground. This little purchase really woke up the truck. I can't tell which is faster, but faster! I was expecting an increase in fuel economy, I got it around town. On the highway, the result was not so impressive. Overall I am very happy with my unintentional purchase of this replacement filter for the Toyota Tacoma 3.5 V6.
