Review on 🌡 WH8040 1%~99% RH HM-40 Type Digital Air Humidity Control Controller 110V by Kendrick Dooley

This controller works as described. Upper and lower limits for humidity and temperature can be easily set. However, the wiring diagrams included in the product documentation do not show the correct "line and load” connection for all applications. With my average electrical knowledge, I was able to figure out the 110 volt AC appliance model controller I bought. I also checked my solution with an electronics expert before making the connections. The humidity sensor lamp has three color coded wires that are factory connected to the control box. Two of the three wires were disconnected at the controller when I was setting up the unit. One of the two wires coming from the temperature sensor bulb was also broken at the controller. After stripping the insulation and connecting the wires, the device works as expected. The connections are marked in Chinese characters both on the controller housing and in the literature. Be sure to color code the terminals on the sensor body with the correct color code for the humidity lamp wires for future reference. Of course, do this in language you understand before handling the device. It is necessary to design a mounting block to accommodate the controller during installation.
