Excellent as a primer.as a primer against redness.unusable. I love how it feels and for my dry but somewhat acne-prone skin I haven't had any problems with drying or irritation. In addition, I use green primers to reduce redness from persistent blemishes caused by illness and the redness I have in general. I didn't do anything with redness so I had to use a thicker concealer. My previous primer (not NYX) was also green but turned out a bit dark for my pale skin. I was hoping the NYX would be a perfect fit, but it's not. I definitely recommend the NYX foundation, especially if you have dry or combination skin, but skip the green option if you're looking to reduce redness.
