Addendum: After 8 months of use, I noticed that the lids were leaking. During the inspection, I noticed cracks in the spout. I assume that the threads are being stressed too much Screw in. The lids are tight. I used to give these 5 stars but I have to downgrade to 2. Also, I only hand wash these lids gently. They've never been in the dishwasher. The search for good mason jar lids continues. I was a bit reluctant to buy these as they seemed expensive but I'm glad I did, I looked for lids that I can shake and pour (homemade cashew milk) and bought others that leaked. Only used 1 of 3 lids that came in the box but it doesn't leak! Very satisfied.
