Perfect for my SUP. VERY EASY TO WORK! SO HAPPY!

I'll start by failing to sound the car more than once. I can do anything myself, and I can do almost anything as long as it doesn't involve the things that require artistic ability. sooo I watched some YouTube videos and decided to try putting this see through bra on my new SUP. Judging by the scrapes and dents on the old SUP, I knew where it was needed. The rails looked the worst cosmetically due to people borrowing them (paddle dents/scratches) and tipping/storing them on their side from time to time. As far as I can tell, 2.5" to 3.5" width and 6.5" to 7.5" length are standard for SUP Rail Protectors. I bought a 6' x 8' and decided to cut it in half to make two 3' x 7' rail guards. So my process was pretty simple. Washed splints with dish soap to remove oil/wax.2. I dried the splints with suede.3. Used a wipe to remove a few scuffs and stains.4. In the end, the entire splint quickly deteriorated.5. Rinse again with diluted dishwashing liquid on a microfiber cloth.6. Put a few drops of baby shampoo in a small spray bottle.7. Rinse the guides thoroughly with shampoo and water and dry with a lint-free cloth.8. Rinse again with shampoo and water and let the water soak in.9. Line up a 3' x 7' clear bra strip and choose a starting point. 10. Place one end on a slightly dry area to keep it in place and thoroughly wet the strip with shampoo and water while I put the bra on full length. Stripes on rail (factory cut side up, lead cut side down). 11. The piece I glued to the slightly dry spot was then lifted and wetted. The whole piece is then moved slightly to position it perfectly. 12. I found some small transparent pieces of bra and hair under the strip. I lifted them up and removed/rinsed until it was all gone. This was very easy and prevented air bubbles from getting around these things. 13. Again, with this big one I started medium and pushed water up and down and down and down under the strip of working water. I didn't use the squeegee left-right, but always up and down. 14. Water was often sucked back under due to capillary action, so I dried with a microfiber when using a squeegee to remove the water. 15th The entire strip is so transparent that after application it is almost invisible. Then I let it dry overnight. Remaining 12" x 6" (I attached 7ft by 8ft strips to the rails): I protected the edges of my paddle with 3 strips just under 1/2" wide. (See YouTube for dry application method. Very easy!) I glued a 1.75" x 12" strip on the end of the board because I transport it in my truck (tail forward and bottom up). Again wet application with water and shampoo..I have a 3" "x 12" strips placed around the nose. Wet application again. My SUP and I am very satisfied with the result. Again, this is only a first impression. If I find that the product is yellowing, rising or otherwise not meeting my expectations, I will update this. After re-reading the item description a genuine 3M transparent bra is "polyurethane paint protection film" and is listed as vinyl This may be my fault but now it looks great and was extreme. ely is easy to use UPD ATE: There is a video online showing the difference between vinyl and urethane sheeting. Vinyl is easily pierced with a thin object like a car key, but urethane is not. I inspected a piece of disc from this roll and could not pierce it with an ink pen even if the pen was blank. I believe it's urethane sheeting. I also used my SUP and paddle. Both have held up well. The paddle was used to repeatedly push trees, rocks and sandy soil and had no abrasions. VERY HAPPY!
