. 50/50 light makes everything look far clearer and more beautiful than the muddy yellows of a fluorescent light.
I have a 44 gallon pentagonal corner aquarium with discus and this 50/50 light makes everything so much clearer and nicer than the muddy yellows of the fluorescent that I had before . I'm not trying to grow plants, so I can't confirm its usefulness in that regard. But it's bright enough to fully illuminate everything in the tank from top to bottom for my viewing pleasure!
