Wow.! Fantastic compared to other lights! Fish Colors Pop!

I've tried several other types of lights but they honestly made the aquarium blurry. This light is fantastic! This is what makes neon really popular. Other fish and plants. Well the whole aquarium looks so cool now. I can't take my eyes off him. For real!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Wow what a change!

Love love love this lightbulb! I see my fish much better. And wow! They have a lot of beautiful colors that I couldn't see with my old lightbulb! I would swear my fish love it too. Now they hang out more in public. I think they can show off their newfound colors. ;-) This is one of the best purchases I've ever made for my fish. Well, except for the food ;-)

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

I have a 44 gallon pentagonal corner aquarium with discus and this 50/50 light makes everything so much clearer and nicer than the muddy yellows of the fluorescent that I had before . I'm not trying to grow plants, so I can't confirm its usefulness in that regard. But it's bright enough to fully illuminate everything in the tank from top to bottom for my viewing pleasure!

Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • Could have gone with a newer model

Luckily when I visited my pet store I was able to see what this light looks like. I liked the range of colors it gave off so I bought it for our 10 gallon tank. This lighting definitely has a blue cast. So it all depends on your personal taste. We have an entire aquarium filled with guppies that are all rainbow colors. Blue guppies look amazing in this light. However, the yellow guppies do lose some brightness compared to our old "standard" fluorescent light that came with our aquarium hood…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
