I've had a whistle/whistle for a while. I tried to fix it by rotating the valve, even cleaned the valve seal. But all the fixes only lasted a few days. The whistle kept coming. After reading dozens of reviews, I was led to believe that I had to replace the entire valve, which worried me greatly. Then I came across this valve seal. I ordered both - a fill valve and this little valve seal. I was curious if printing would suffice. Considering the low price, I decided it was worth experimenting with. In fact, replacing the gasket solved the problem! There is no need to replace the entire valve and send plastic waste to landfill! I wonder how many thousands of toilet valves are needlessly replaced every year when this easy-to-replace rubber gasket is enough to solve the problem. I will return the valve.
