Review on International Concepts 3069 36 Inch Unfinished by Bhushan Barkley

Great little Parawood plant in Indonesia or Vietnam. I bought it to power up my CD player/stereo. The packaging was great and it only takes 8 screws to assemble which took about 15 minutes the first time. The kit includes an Allen key needed to tighten the screws, so no tools are required for assembly. The workmanship is darn good, and it's pre-sanded. I decided to paint the stand to better match my oak CD racks. A word of warning if you wish to stain: Steamwood is quite dense and you may need to choose a stain a shade or two darker than the color you wish to match. I didn't, and my paint project came out lighter than I wanted, even after applying two coats of stain, then two more coats of darker stain, and then three coats of polyurethane.
