UPDATING AGAIN. I went ahead and put silicone around the entire factor seal since this was still leaking like a sieve. IT STILL gets water inside. No idea how or where, but every time it rains, I have a puddle of water inside the box. The hinges must leak somehow, and no way to seal these. I have siliconed every single possible place where water could come in, and it still leaks. Will be purchasing something new before the SPRING rains come. UPDATED REVIEW: Changing to 2 stars. Box has started to LEAK after 3 months. Looked like just condensation, but when I opened the door, WATER actually poured out the bottom. I sealed all mounting holes with silicone when installed, so it's obviously leaking around the factory seal. The hinges are totally rusted out also. They will obviously fail soon. Will now have to find something better for my deck speakers mini-amp---this one is garbage. FIRST REVIEW: Bought this for my outdoor, bluetooth mini-amp that runs my deck speakers. So far, it's been watertight. Has a nice tight seal on it, so I think it should be fine for a long time. You have to drill a hole to run any wires you have coming out, but that was fine---just have to seal them up with some silicone around the hole. Works perfect!
