The temptation to read review after review, both online and in physical stores, was too much for me to ignore, and I eventually gave in. My ears tell me that something is drastically out of sync (the sound lags behind the speaker, for example; I verified it on several devices), despite the fact that detractors state that there is just a minor lag in the audio that is barely discernible. The word "at all" does not have any bass in it at all, regardless of how you look at it. The equalization function is not included in the app and is therefore unavailable. There is a high probability that the customer support and marketing service will suggest a remedy such as "Try switching the ear pads, and make sure that you pass the sound quality test in the application." I've tried swapping out each of the three distinct types of rubber bands, but it hasn't made any difference. To begin, I brought the software and the firmware up to their most recent versions by performing an update on both of them. There was absolutely no use in anything. The conclusion is that the 12 dollars are not well spent.
