comes with everything you need to make water testing easy. I would recommend a table lamp if you are.

I have been waiting for months to post a review to ensure an honest opinion. Very accurate. From time to time (not often enough to be a problem) the refractometer needs to be recalibrated to ensure accuracy. However, I just take the extra step of always checking accuracy before changing the water in my tank. Looks solid, comes with everything you need to make water testing easy. I would recommend a table lamp if you can't get strong enough light from a window to get a clear reading. Feel free to buy.
