UPDATE 07/10/20: Still working great after over a year, I'm very happy with it. Filters get expensive, especially when you have to change them often depending on how dirty the air is. But it's nice to know it's in the filter and not in the air I breathe. Definitely recommend this as an affordable air purifier option. I'm so glad I got this. I've noticed mold growing on my windows and window sills. I wanted something that would keep the humidity down and also purify the air in my room in case mold spores are in the air. Me and my husband also smoke in my room which creates a lot of extra steam in the air and at this time of year water tends to pool on the windows from the cold. I love that it is an air purifier and also a dehumidifier. It was the only one I could find in a decent price range that included an air purifier in the same device. It definitely helped reduce the humidity in my room and my windows stay much drier now. They're still accumulating a little water, but it's winter too, and they're always worse at this time of year. Although it has decreased significantly, which is great. I've emptied the bucket a few times now but it holds a lot so I don't have to empty it as often which is annoying. It automatically shuts off when full and prompts you to empty it, which is a pro. You can also just use the air purifier, but when you turn on the dehumidifier, the air purifier will turn on automatically. I'm just hoping to order filters for it as I've seen there were some issues of never having them in stock. I don't need it for 5 months or so, but I want to have it on hand. So far I have no complaints and for the price this is a great machine. Would recommend to anyone looking for a dehumidifier at a good price.
