Review on 🦈 SharkBite SS3094FLEX24LF Water Heater Connector: Reliable Push-To-Connect Copper, PEX, CPVC Hose - 1" X 1" FIP X 24 by Jayshawn Cuatlayol

I have used Sharkbite fittings successfully in the past but this product failed. I've used 1/2" and 3/4" Sharkbite fittings before with no problems, but this 1" fitting was leaking. I installed the fitting on a 1" CPVC water line. I carefully trimmed the end with a ratchet pipe cutter and deburred the end with the Sharkbite tool. However, I could not adjust the fitting to the full insertion depth. I made the mating connection on a workbench and couldn't for the life of me achieve full insertion as the insertion tool dimensions dictate. However, I'm pretty sure the CPVC pipe bottoms in the Sharkbite fitting. I checked the pressure port and found a leak. I'm sending the hose back. I don't think Sharkbite is that reliable for larger pipe sizes. I will continue to use Sharkbite for smaller diameters but no larger than 3/4".
