I used these pretty grommets to cover the 1" holes drilled in the ceiling and walls for my CCTV cables when I installed my security system. Audio/video and the large ends of the HDMI cable barely go through (with a little wiggling) and once the covers snapped back into place there was very little clearance around the cables. They worked great to close the drilled 1 inch. Rough holes and add a professional and finished look to the installation, they also prevent loose ceiling insulation from falling out (just remember to use them before connecting the wires). I bought a pack of five of these black grommets here at Revain for the exterior of my house and a pack of five white grommets for my interior ceilings and walls; since I could only find 2 inch sockets or larger at local offices and hardware stores. I wish Revain would better reference those 1" grommets in your inventory because even if you type "1" desktop grommet in Revain's site search, you still have to go through a large number of grommet pages to find that 1- Inch size that only seems to come from one or two vendors (they also come in Almond). These grommets are durable, well made and good looking. They can be used for a variety of purposes not just covering the wire feed hole on the work table.
