My son bought this for me as a Christmas present. Embedded issues in the name of security, so I get that. It doesn't charge, it needs to be connected to the network. The cord is long enough to get the job done and the machine needs to be running for this thing to work. So these are things I understand, although uncomfortable. You don't want it draining your car battery when the car isn't in use, and you don't want it accidentally turning on when you park your car and leave. It's clear. Two features that really bother me: 1) When you pull out the handle, you can't put the entire cleaning surface on the windshield because the handle is shaped like a banana. 2) Maybe I should have mentioned that first, but it doesn't generate enough heat to do the job, so essentially it doesn't work.
