Review on Upgraded SSP-30XL: Portable RV Smart Surge Protector with Cover - 30 Amps by Progressive Industries by Chris Wilson

I only bought this a few months ago. I have owned my motorhome for 5 years. I've never had a problem like this. I found that I had no power in my RV and noticed the surge protector on blue and red. The plug in the 30 amp box was in good working order. But as you can see, my power cord and surge protector melted and burned. After a lot of research, I found out that it was a defective surge protector. Remember I have been in the RV industry for over 10 years. Every tech I spoke to explained how many complaints they had about this brand. I decided to spend a little more money and buy the WatchDog brand as a replacement. Don't let that happen to you!
