I repaired a 1980 Ford F-600 with a 370 engine (385 series engine, like 429/460) that had a worn distributor, a broken coil, a suspicious ignition box and also corrosion, cracks and crumbling. Wiring. When looking for parts I came across this HEI conversion distributor! Like thunder out of the blue. Here's the solution! The DuraSpark II system wasn't great when it was new and this was completely destroyed so going to the new HEI was a massive upgrade. Track the camp rat's nest under this hood. cheered. Couldn't be happier. And the customer was amazed to get a new HEI distributor at such a good price. Thanks very much!
