I paid $10 for it and the quality seems to match the price. I was looking for a relatively inexpensive, airtight canister for a pound of whole bean coffee. It does the job. I do not regret the purchase. The silicone gasket fell off when I received the product, but it wasn't that difficult to fix. The composition of the canister was of average quality: not super tin, but not particularly heavy either. I can't comment on how durable this product is because I haven't had it that long, but it doesn't seem that fragile. . Seems to work for my purposes. To be fair, if I needed a canister that I opened and closed multiple times a day, I'd look for something better (and more expensive). Definitely I'll update this review if anything breaks or wears out over the next few months. What I didn't like was that the clear plastic lid had a huge product label that wasn't easy to peel off. out. I think if I really put my mind to it I could remove it, but it wouldn't be easy.
