I give 5 stars because it's a great product, there's no denying it. The problem is that the reviewer wrote that it fits an 11x20 trash can. I have 11x18. I knew Gal. 13 doesn't fit and it's 20 gallons so of course I clicked ADD TO CART. It's only been a few days, I received it today. I smelled Frebreze before opening the box and it was overwhelming, but I know a lot of people who like to walk around smelling like "piles of clean laundry or a dryer" so I'll leave that alone. I think they're really good at fighting odors, although I don't throw junk in the trash. I digress, the 20 gallon size is really perfect for my trash can, but it fits on the rim like a 13 gallon size. So I'm sticking with 80 bags, which will take me about 40 months to use (I'm a green girl; I recycle a lot), or I'm giving them away or giving them back. I'm not a Rockefeller so I can't just give my stuff away and I really don't like giving my stuff back. So I will see if there is another size that I can exchange to and then I will transfer it. In conclusion - how do I measure the OVAL basket? I measured the width at 11 inches and the length at 19 inches. Should it be the diameter? I measured the outside, it's about 50-51 inches, so 24 inches (or 48 inches) based on the attached picture won't fit. Forgive the semantics, but I need to know! I have not found a bag that fits in this bin in the 20 years that I have owned it. And I love it so it doesn't disappear, so I'm stuck with these oversized 30-33 gallon Forevah bags?! Oh, I do not know.
