Easy to install, however the instructions require horizontal installation and the mounting bracket does not allow horizontal alignment. To maintain the installation level (left to right), you will need to level the mount if the surface you are installing it on is not level. Up/down orientation is not a problem as the bracket allows for a fairly wide range of installation angles and the mounting bracket allows for good adjustment in that direction. Haven't pulled with a load yet, but testing with an empty trailer was easy and operation was straightforward. UPDATE Used for over a year. No problem. The price has risen sharply in the last year. I paid $33 and now see $54 or more.
