Works great! We have a house that was built in the 60's and all of our fans are connected to the same switch. So to turn the light on and off and leave the fan on, we always had to walk into the room and pull the cord. Bought for a room with switches on opposite sides of the room that don't fit the built in wall control. As another person reported, I installed the bracket by inserting the top screw from the wall switch plate into the bottom hole of the bracket and it works like a charm! I'll definitely be buying one for the other wall switch :-) Regarding the comments I've seen about the receiver being too big, this is a standard receiver size and no, it doesn't work with all ceiling fans. . The wider the base the better, and if you have the resources you can always make it higher than the ceiling, but that's a lot more work than most people are willing to do. I've been using it for 4 months now, no problems with the signal. Good product!
