I have two such chic devices in the same price range. I use them for ammeter function. Haven't tested the voltmeter yet - I have a good fluke for that. But of the two devices I have, I like this one better. Why? - Automatic range selection. Other devices must select the range manually. Maybe manual selection is somehow more accurate or better, I don't know. However, automatic selection is more convenient. It remembers your settings. Other types automatically turn on the AC setting, so when you use them you have to press a different button to switch to the DC setting. This tells you that you reset it. The reset function requires a long hold and puts a Z mark on the screen. - The kit is nice. It even comes with a screwdriver to pry open the battery area. Now I only have three stars for accuracy because both of the ones I had weren't anywhere near as big. What was closer to the truth? I can not say. But honestly, when DC clamp meters from reputable companies cost a lot more money and this one doesn't, the accuracy is questionable until proven otherwise. If I have a chance to test it, I'll raise the stars up or down.
