If you tie it very tightly as shown on the packaging and take care to stretch it, it will NOT unravel, no glue required. You need to know! These are good quality items. It doesn't tear either, even if I pull with all my might to check it I haven't managed to break it (although I wouldn't pull the bracelet). Don't go cheap, I had some cheap stuff in the kit and it was complete crap, couldn't be tied on. I find 0.7 best for most beads I want to use for elastic bracelets, thick enough to be strong but not so thick that it's difficult to tie or doesn't fit some beads.
