First of all, this system is very easy to install! 1) Plug the power connector of the monitor into the power port (cigarette lighter socket), 2) connect the two power cables of the camera to the wiring of the parking lights (or reversing lights), 3) turn on the monitor. That's all! This only lasted a few minutes. The monitor shows a very clear picture and true colors. When driving on the road, the image is stable and easy to see. There are also some extra features that come in very handy. There is a record function, reverse image function, line on/off and a few others that I haven't tried yet. I use this continuous camera/monitor system in the back of my trailer to see what's following me and park without anyone else directing me to the right spot. It definitely exceeds what I expected. I have already recommended to friends. Update: I went with the extended antenna recommended for longer distances and to my surprise the picture on the monitor is even better! There is no lag time at all. I tried additional functions (besides the recording function) and they all worked according to the instructions. I'd like simpler one step lines for toggling on/off instead of going through the menu, finding the exact category and then toggling the feature on/off. That doesn't really bother me as I prefer to leave the lines full-time. This is a great little system.
