I bought glasses because I work on the computer about 9 hours a day. At the end of the day my eyes are dry and sore from both the computer and the industrial lighting I work in. Tried glasses with a magnification of 1.50. The magnification is too high for my eyesight, so my fiancé wears glasses. He loves her for computer, phone and reading. We both found the glasses dimmed the intense white light from the computer. The color of the screen softens (yellows), but the lenses do not turn yellow, which I liked. Next time I will buy a pair without the raise for my own use. I would recommend anyone who uses a computer and has dry, irritated eyes to try them. When not suited to computer use, they are great for reading outdoors.
