Not easy to assemble

The product sits well on the seat. The fabric-covered strap that goes across the back of the chair is too big and hangs loose. I had to tie. Elastic strap with buckle is ok. My problem is the front strap loops. Where can you connect them? I tried stretching the loop strap between the cushion and the back of the chair and found something to hook it under, but this pulled the cover down and I found a screw under the chair to try and hook the strap , but it didn't stay! What am I doing wrong ?
