Bought this for my daughter for her annual father daughter dance. She weighs 10.75 pounds and is about 55 inches tall. The dress hits her right in the toes! Perfect for a princess. The fabric is not super soft but feels very durable. The shape of the dress is comfortable, the zipper is high quality. Doesn't shine through, does NOT stretch, but I feel the size fits my chest. My daughter has broad shoulders and chest for her age and a size 10 fits her. But here's a warning... PINK, NOT BLUE. It's more of a soft peach pink. It's bright, but there's just a hint of orange in it. Still, an absolutely beautiful dress for the price and the occasion. I would recommend this dress in any color for any semi-formal or formal outing.
