Review on Enhanced SunFounder Raspberry Touchscreen 7" - 1024×600 Capacitive, IPS, HDMI, HD by William Thrower

Once you open the box, you don't have to search for tiny instructions. You will receive a large, heavy sheet of paper with an easy to read and identifiable parts list and assembly instructions. All parts in the box are easy to identify, and small parts are divided into small packages and well marked with the corresponding description from the parts list. Very professional. The compact 7 inch display is housed in a metal case and connected to a logic control board, making it a robust and reliable touch module. Good job on the most important part. The expansion port for the RPI board is great and provides a solid and reliable connection for my Pi4. Confidence grows as I keep building. I didn't like peeling the paper off the acrylic sheet, but it wasn't too bad. The connection between the Pi and the display does not require any cables. However, care must be taken when inserting bridge connections. The camera mount is conveniently placed and securely fastened to the back with plastic rivets. Well done. Initial powering up brought me to "Pi Desktop" but it wouldn't start. from a fresh 64-bit Raspian SD card. That's how it might seem. The Pi appeared to be active, but the display went to sleep. READ THE MANUAL! I need to use an outdated 32-bit Debian Buster as the operating system. This OS booted successfully, and I'll leave what I found a surprise to the next buyer. Another great product from SunFounder in the display category. I recommend the PiPower battery but haven't received one from SunFounder yet. I will update this review if I rate it.
