When we upgraded our phones to iPhone Xs and Xr we bought 4 of these to put on 3 of our cars. Very easy to install. Autocommit is good. However, as others have pointed out, there are serious problems. First, they randomly start and stop charging. It could be every minute or so, up to every ten seconds. Not only does this make loading inconsistent, but your screen keeps turning on and off as loading starts and stops. Very annoying. We thought it might be our cases so we bought new ones which said they were Qi compatible and didn't go beyond the thickness limits stated by the charger. Did not help. We even tried it without a suitcase. It didn't help either. Random on and off charging continued. Another big issue that others have also pointed out is the charger randomly letting go of your phone for no reason. You just ride and hear the arms open. Living in Colorado this is a big problem as we drive uphill a lot. When these arms open, the phone falls down. We found these issues with all 4 chargers in all 3 vehicles. Another minor annoyance is how loudly the charger's lower arm rattles when the phone isn't plugged in. This is absolute rubbish. stay away, away
