The batteries themselves seem a bit more rugged than some I have seen, which is nice.They only heat your toes, which is exactly what I needed. Heating the whole foot would probably drain the battery too fast anyway.I am a size 13, which is the upper limit of the size large. They do fit, but just barely.The battery fits in my wader boot. I don't feel it on my shin at all, unless the wader boot is in the water and the pressure pushes it in.The battery seems to last as described. Hopefully it has a long lifespan of use.
