Stainless steel soda bottle looks great. It's holding up well - we've had our stainless steel bottles for over a year and there is no visible wear on them. The good thing is that the stainless steel part can be detached for cleaning if necessary. They are slightly heavier than plastic bottles. If you are taking them to work in a lunch box, this is something to consider. I tested one in the dishwasher just to see what would happen. Do not do that. The plastic part will still melt. We have a long bottle brush and the opening of this bottle is large enough to clean fairly easily. I may invest in new ones that are dishwasher safe if I ever buy new ones.
