🍾 SodaStream 1L Classic Metal Carbonating Bottle: Premium Stainless Steel for Effortless Refreshment Review

The bottle cap has a very sharp edge. It's metal and cut my hand in two places when I tried to twist and open the lid. These sores are about 3 days old. The cut on my middle finger bled immediately.

I received two of these bottles and they are crooked. Clearly a production problem. As you can see in the picture the bottle is tilted to the right as it is not properly attached to the base. Both return. Not worth the money for bottles.

Someone posted pictures of their damaged product claiming it was dishwasher safe. The bottle clearly states that it is not dishwasher safe. So don't hold it against this product. Otherwise, it's a durable and elegant design and easy to hand wash. I have another soda bottle that can be washed in the dishwasher, but it is clear that this one cannot even be washed in hot water, only cold/warm.

I bought two of these bottles to replace aging Sodastream bottles that have lost their integrity. I bought a bottle last year which I thought was the same and was very happy with it so thought it would be a good buy. Not so! These new bottles don't hold carbon dioxide overnight. Stainless steel soda bottle looks great. It's holding up well - we've had our stainless steel bottles for over a year and there is no visible wear on them. The good thing is that the stainless steel part can be detached for cleaning if necessary. They are slightly heavier than plastic bottles. Unfortunately I put my AirSoda bottle on the dishwasher thinking everything would be fine. Of course I should have read the note saying NOT to do it.
