Overall I think this is a good choice if you don't want to spend $30-$50 more for the official Microsoft Surface Pen. I've had this item for a month and have been taking quite a few notes with the pen. I haven't had any problems with the battery or the handpiece. My only wish is that there would be built-in functionality for shortcuts like the Surface Pen, but since it wasn't advertised I wasn't expecting that. However, the delete and right-click buttons work fine. It's definitely worth the money even if you only use the pen occasionally.
