He did exactly what I needed him to do. I have a Kenmore Elite He5t washing machine. This gave me a Suds error followed by F35. A Sears tech (which cost me $80) told me it could be a pressure sensor and/or drain pump, which he estimated would cost him close to $400 to fix. I did it myself which cost me $73 for the pressure gauge and $42 for the drain pump. Nothing has improved. The CCU replacement estimate was just over $600. So I decided to fix the CCU myself by buying a solder kit ($20) and two 2200uf capacitors (<$10). I replaced the capacitor myself, the washer works like new. I could do all of this for less than $30. Instead, I spent $150 on 2 service visits, $73 on a pressure sensor that I didn't need to change, $42 on a new drain pump that I didn't need to change, and $30 on replacing the capacitors, for a total of $295. This still beats the service technicians' estimate of over $600. Not a bad deal. This soldering iron kit has two disadvantages. Firstly, it does not include a beginner's guide, although there are videos for beginners on YouTube. Second, the kit came in a jumble, with various components placed in slots in random order.
