Review on 💾 Optimized Highpoint RocketStor 6628A Thunderbolt 3 2nd Gen. RAID Enclosure with 8 Bays by Ashwin Patel

I ordered this cable and used it for a day. I previously had the first Highpoint Thunderbolt 3 product with a Gen 4 bay. This is normal, but about every two weeks, a random shutdown will occur that will require you to restart your PC. I am using Windows 10 Pro. I was hoping that this 2nd generation hardware RAID unit would perform better. It's not like this. After connecting and fully formatting drives etc (and using RAID 5) the transfer and read speeds were very good, say in the 1-1.5GB/s range (I'm using the right cables etc). However, as a rule, after a minute or two, the box turned off completely and "disappeared” from Windows. I've tried everything. Updated drivers etc. I just think there are probably too many differences between mobo and windows 10. This box can work perfectly and reliably in a Mac environment. For me on Windows it was practically unusable and after hours of troubleshooting I had to send it back.
