Purchased 1 Qt. and 1.5kw. Pan to replace the very old Pyrex pans which still served their purpose but were badly scratched. We couldn't find Pyrex anymore. We definitely wanted ears on the base and lid and not a round button on the lid. Stackability was important, which is great; especially with two sizes. The glass is thinner than the old Pyrex and will hopefully be just as strong. We find it difficult to get rid of old trusty stuff, but these casseroles are a nicer replacement and upgrade. The old Pyrex pans are now going into the box and being kept for our son.
