That's a little thing and only one. This is where my only minus ends. The product arrived on time, looked good, seems well assembled. It wasn't easy to put in place as my lower quality old one came out completely when the part fell apart by simply unscrewing it and removing it straight from the old starter. Installation was difficult, I had to use bolt cutters to finish the job and that made everything that much more difficult. I don't blame the new starter for the problem as it got a lot easier after the old bolt was removed. However, cables can get in the way and fray easily, so be careful with wiring near the 2005 Escalade. All mini heat shields bolted on and tested. For the record, this truck has never started, headlights were on full power, one headlight and fuses were changed, the starter motor was tested but it was not a good test and the alternator was working properly. All batteries changed and checked, nothing helped. Even before I installed this starter, I noticed that the old one didn't fire quickly and took longer than my other one to go out. high! It had a lag like my old one but it definitely started easier and worked every time for the past few months, didn't leave me stranded and worked every time. After many kilometers and many rides it still remains as strong as it should be, hopefully for a long life of the vehicles if the quality is right. Thanks and hope this helps someone.
