Reading the reviews made me hesitant to buy it. There were several complaints that the colors were bland and that it was too small. I am pleased to report that the green and red plaid cape I purchased looks exactly like the photo. I'm 5'4" and of average build. The long ends fall below the knees. It was meant to be a shawl hemline with a shorter back, so if you're looking for a long back cape, this isn't it. I received It was "same day" just in time for my flight to Mexico. I don't need it for Mexico but flights can get terribly cold. The fabric is cozy and soft yet light weight which is exactly what I wanted and was comfortable surprised how good he looked.Sometimes capes or ponchos make me look like a balloon.I will benefit a lot from this beautiful cape.
