good part. Installation problem

This LG part sold by DIY Repair Parts turned out to be in perfect condition. The only problem is that it was very poorly designed from the start. That so many people report a part breaking for no apparent reason is undoubtedly the result of an installation error due to poor design. Five stars each; A star for design and installation. The part that needs to be removed to install the filter has six tabs that fit inside the microwave case, one of which has a screw hole and the other needs to fit under the filter. You must always remember to remove the screw first when removing the part to replace the filter, otherwise you will break this tab. And you'll probably need a ladder to get to the screw. When changing the filter, you must slide the part until the center bottom tab is under the filter, otherwise the whole part will not fit; also, the filter is so loose that it often falls out when trying to adjust the part (fun if you're on a stepladder). If one of the tabs doesn't fit properly in the cabinet, that part will seem to fit, but will slide up and down as you open and close the microwave door; This will eventually break the tabs. You know you installed the part correctly if it doesn't move when you close the door. Yes, it's a cheap piece of plastic, but it wasn't well designed originally. You don't have to remove such a part just to change the filter (every six months!). The filter must not interfere with the installation of the part. And it shouldn't be that easy to install a part incorrectly. Apparently this was designed by people who have never had to change a filter themselves. It is hoped that they will spend eternity using their own designs over and over again.
