After using a low-cost ultrasonic humidifier for several years, I made the decision to switch brands and quickly settled on Venta as my new humidifier of choice. Venta humidifies the air more slowly than ultrasonic models, but it does not produce a cloudy white mist in the space and does not cause the temperature to drop. It achieves the best results with the windows and door closed; a room that is 14 square meters in size will practically be completely saturated with moisture. It is much simpler to take breaths now. When I went to change the water in the container a couple of days later, there was so much dirt in there! Another benefit is that you are able to use it while sleeping: Venta does not make any gurgling sounds, there is no brilliant backlight that stays on, it is completely silent, and when it is set to the lowest speed, it is barely audible at all. It is not inexpensive, but it is money well spent because there is a ten-year warranty from the manufacturer. The only piece of advice that can be given is to choose the volume appropriate to the size of the space (LW15 is the smallest of the three options), as well as to shut all of the windows and the entrance.
