Review on 🔥 Dorman 973-426 HVAC Blower Motor Resistor Kit: Ideal for Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep Models by David Boulanger

Worked great on my 2004 Dodge Durango SLT 4.7L 4.7L. My internal fan only worked on high settings 3 and 4, nothing on the first two low settings. After installing this fan resistor, the fan worked in all 4 settings. Ease of installation. It is located just below the glove box on the passenger side. Simply unscrew and remove the 2-8mm screws securing the small black cover to access the wiring harness that connects to the fan resistor. Simply slide the red locking mechanism on the passenger side wiring harness to unlock. Then press and remove the tab located on top of the seat belts. A spare wiring harness is included in the box which is good as you can see where the bracket and tab are on the wiring harness. Then remove the 2-8mm screws holding the fan resistor in place. Pull out the burned resistor, replace it with a new one and reinstall the 2 screws. Then fit the wiring harness until it snaps into place and secure the red tab by sliding it towards the driver. Replace the black cover with 2 screws. Done, work 5 minutes! This may not work if you have electronic temperature control. I just have a sliding temperature controller that switches from red to blue.
