April 26, 2018 update: I've had it for almost a month now and I will say that this massager can work really well on the lower back. I prefer this massager because the handles are taller for deep tissue massage. Well, as I mentioned in my review, you can't push it too hard, but as long as you lie on it with a pillow in front and/or back to distribute some of the weight, it'll give you a really deep massage. Now I'll do the shoulders first and sweep down the lower back. Again, the torque isn't as strong as the Zyllion back massager, so you can occasionally stop the handles if you squeeze them with your body (I wouldn't put my finger on them for that), but it goes deep into the cloth to give way. Massage. All I can say is it's divine! ***Original Review*** About two years ago I bought a Revain back massager (Zyllion ZMA-13-BK) that did a great job and I use it several times a week. heat is on I've always had stiff shoulders and it took forever to pull the trigger on one (don't know why) and I'm glad I did. There is a big difference between the two and I will say if you don't have both, get BOTH. But before I compare them, this massager is primarily great for the neck, shoulders, upper and middle back. I'll reserve my opinion on the lower back shortly. In this massager, the kneading ball is taller and has four on each side (two high, two short). It really digs deep into the neck and shoulders. If you want to work the shoulders toward the hand, I simply moved one hand forward and the other back, so you're using the massager on one shoulder at a time. It works amazing. You might not need it unless you have broad shoulders, but they seem to hit all areas. For the upper and mid back, I like to push it lightly and knead it well. The buttons are simply placed in a convenient spot to easily adjust the speed and turn the heater on or off. The device makes a good impression for its price. I almost bought the $50 version but didn't see any quality difference in the photos so I hope it lasts a while. If you have lower back issues and have a larger frame (I'm 5ft 10", 220lbs), you'll find that while this massager is "good" for your lower back, you'll benefit more with one special back massager like the Zyllion I feel like the torque is deliberately lower with the Medcursor so as not to hurt the neck. If you place the MedCursor on your lower back and try to sit on it, even at level 3, it will slow down enough for you to stop the device. a butt pad and it will knead no problem. So I think these products are more suited for a gentle massage of the lower back but can work really well in other areas. I think both are great products and I use both almost daily before bed as I have a busy day at work, in front of the computer and lifting things around the house - it's amazing what these massagers are capable of. Of course, the price may seem too high to someone, but in one massage session it is almost worth it. A specialized back massager will usually last about two years with daily use. I don't think that's a bad thing at all, considering I'm not exactly light either. I recommend this product. Start with level 1 as level 3 is almost painful if you don't pay attention to the kneading force there is around the shoulder especially when they are tight! Have fun massaging!
