looks very cheap, like a toy. I tried to warm up a shallow, medium sized mug from the cold (one of those small ones that doesn't hold much coffee and doesn't have an unusually thick base), it took about 30 minutes to warm up acceptably. That means I could drink it and resist the temptation to microwave it, but it could definitely be hotter. Then I tried a real cup, above average, I would say medium thick, this suction cup stood there for more than 15 minutes and was still completely cold. I threw it away, it just takes too long.
