These lights were bought for the performance and price. If you are making a two shelf headboard and place two 24 inch lights under its top shelf and connect them in tandem. The swivel function and the possibility of changing the light temperature are outstanding. Everything I was looking for in LED under cabinet lighting with connectivity. Now that's not a disadvantage. The first time I used it, I was satisfied with its light. Everything was working as expected until today when I wanted to turn it off. I flipped the switch there and the light remained dim, almost like a night light. Figured it would eventually shut off once remaining power was used up. It lit up a few hours later. So I tried unplugging it and the glow stopped. I wrote to Parmida and they responded immediately. According to their engineering department, it has something to do with linear tuning and residual power in the loop. They were kind enough to offer me a refund, unfortunately it was installed at our vacation home in California and we moved back to Hawaii so it's not possible to return it. I emailed them to say it must be something to do with the switches. It passes current even when the switch is in the off position. Proof of this is that when I turn off the light, the glow stops and lights up again when I turn it back on, even if the light switch is off. This matches the two lamps I bought. If Parmida can solve this problem, it will be a five star product. I gave them three stars because of the features and the response time of the support team. I hope this helps you decide whether or not to buy this product.
