Review on TerraMaster D2 Duplicator External Enclosure by Virgilio Patton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Clumsy, zero instructions, zero support.

I wanted to like it, but it was a big disappointment, especially considering that it costs $130. Firstly, there is no information about this D2 hard drive SSD cloning device. Second, the TerraMaster website is unavailable. frequently. Desperate, I went online to find a video on how to use it as there are no instructions at all. Third, setting up each drive with screws and all is time consuming. Fourth, the drive bays are NOT labeled. So you can easily mess up and ruin your original HDD/SSD! As it stands, the LEFT side (when looking at the device closest to the display) is the SOURCE and the right side is the destination (i.e. the blank one). The process of starting a clone is clumsy and strange. For the price, it's a bulky and poorly designed device. 2/5 stars. Not suitable for the high price.
