This is perfect for my horse. We rode a 10 mile route and the net held up great. I have not used the collar but tried it on my horse and it fit great. The back looks a bit big at first because it hangs down at the sides. BUT after riding it, this is the part I like the most. His stomach was also "somewhat" protected. The best part is that it didn't move back and forth. I didn't have people telling me to stop and straighten the sheet. I placed the top extra fabric between the saddle and saddle to keep it in place. Worked great. It also had a double lining on the top to really help with the bugs that are still trying to bite. All in all a great purchase! In the middle of our trip, my friend was also thinking about buying one. Ps- my horse was actually in the net with me in the water and still stayed in place. .yes, he's half a fish.
